What we do

Three jobs, one system

Most sports programmes stop at one of these. A child who trains but never competes gives up. A coach with no assignments leaves the field. We run all three together, because they only work together.

  • 01

    Coaching & training

Qualified coaches delivered to schools, grounds and communities - as weekly sessions, holiday camps or full-season programmes, structured by age and sport.

    Careers for coaches

Paid assignments, camp revenue and a route into coaching as a real profession - not a weekend hobby. We handle the schools, scheduling and payments.

    Events & talent showcasing

Private tournaments, inter-school meets and showcase days where students compete, get seen, and carry home something that proves it.

Programs

Pick the shape that fits your calendar

Cycling first. Everything else too.

Cycling and cycle polo are what we are known for, and they carry our deepest coaching bench. The rest of the roster runs on the same age-banded curriculum and the same verified coaches.

Why SportSense exists

The problem is not talent. It is access.

Walk into most schools in the district and you will find grounds, equipment and a period marked PT on the timetable. What is usually missing is a qualified coach who shows up every week and knows what a nine-year-old should be doing differently from a fifteen-year-old.

At the same time there are trained coaches in the same city looking for work, taking up unrelated jobs because coaching does not pay reliably. Two shortages sitting next to each other, neither one being solved.

SportSense is the connective tissue. We recruit and verify coaches, take the operational load off schools, and run the events that make the whole thing worth training for.

Verified coaches
Background, qualification and experience checked before any assignment.
Structured curriculum
Age-banded skill progression, not ad-hoc sessions.
Reported outcomes
Attendance, assessment and progress shared with the school.

For schools & institutions

A sports department, without hiring one

You keep the ground, the students and the credit. We bring the coaches, the plan and the paperwork. Most partnerships start with a single trial camp before anything is signed.

  • Coaches assigned, scheduled and covered when absent
  • Sport and age-group plan built around your timetable
  • Termly student assessment and participation reports
  • Inter-house and inter-school competitions organised for you
  • Identification of students worth pushing further
  • One point of contact, one monthly invoice

How a partnership starts

  1. Intro call

15 minutes on your grounds, students and calendar.

  2. Trial camp

A short paid or free pilot so you can judge the coaching.

  3. Season plan

Sports, batches, coaches and dates agreed in writing.

  4. Run & report

Weekly sessions, termly reports, end-of-season event.

Camp revenue share
Run vacation camps under the SportSense banner and share the intake.

In their words

Three sides of the same programme

A principal, a coach and a parent - the three people who have to think it is working for it to keep working.

  • “We had the ground and the students. What we never had was someone turning up every Tuesday who actually knew how to run a session. That changed in one term.”

Rajan MenonPrincipal, Govt. Model HSS, Kozhikode
  • “I was coaching two evenings a week for pocket money. I now have four school assignments and a camp of my own. It is the first year coaching has paid my bills.”

    Fasil RahmanFootball coach, SportSense panel
  • “My daughter went from avoiding PT class to asking whether there is practice on Saturday. The progress card they send every term is the part I did not expect.”

Questions

Before you get in touch

Anything not covered here, ask us directly on WhatsApp.

  • Which areas do you currently operate in?

We are based in Kozhikode and currently run programmes across the district and nearby Malabar towns. If you are outside that radius, still get in touch - we assess new areas based on how many schools and coaches are interested.

  • Does the school need its own ground and equipment?

A usable open space helps, but it is not a hard requirement. We regularly run programmes on partner grounds and public facilities, and we can bring coaching equipment for most sports.

  • How are coaches selected and verified?

Every coach on the panel is screened for certification or documented playing and coaching experience, interviewed, and briefed on child safeguarding before being assigned to any school.

  • What does a school programme cost?

It depends on the number of sports, batch sizes and session frequency. Most schools begin with a short trial camp so they can judge the coaching before committing to a season. Ask us for a quote against your timetable.

  • Can parents enrol a child directly, without a school?

Yes. Our community batches run on local grounds in the evenings and at weekends and are open to any child in the age range, whether or not their school works with us.

  • I am a coach. How do I join the panel?

Send us your sport, certification, location and available days through the enquiry form. Shortlisted coaches are invited for a short interview and an on-ground session before assignments begin.
